My oh my here we go
Got up at 11am - early for a Sunday, but if I oversleep then I cant get to bed before midnight and then Mondays are oh so very painful. :s Urgh mondays
Had a nice little Sunday breakfast (2 slices of granary toast, with light butter, and thin slices of turkey ham, sorry no picture, i was sleepy :S). Gooffed around online for a while, had a small cup of instant coffee - no sugar, sweetener or milk, just plain. And then debated what time I should be hitting the road...
Had a medium banana, and a cup of green team at 2pm, folded my clean laudry, looked for my fleece for 10' - and found it!, put my gear on and hit the road around 2.30pm. I'm lucky enough to live in a residential area, and I often see runners around - didnt feel like too much of an alien... So my route today will be my house to the 2nd nearest tube station - this is normally a 12' walk (I walk quickly). The book said:
60sec run
3min walk
and repeat 5 times
As I run to the station and back, I'm not sure how many time i repeated, I guess it was 5 or 6. The first 5' passed quickly and then the pain set in. The back of my throat hurt like I wouldnt break, the underside of my feet hurt like I'm getting blisters under the arch of my feet, my hands were cold.... oh I so wished I was sitting on my couch watching Lost (mmm sawyer.... )
But I braved through, and made it to the station and back, took me around 30' net time. Twas ok and not too painful in the end, even though the underside of my feet is now pink and feels blister-y (not sure if that's a word!). Had a nice long shower, heated up some of yesterday's lentil soup (hmmm soup :D) and on the couch I hop!
For dinner I had about 2 schoops of unbaked cookie dough - oh god it's sooo good and yummy. I make these soft cookies to bring to my colleagues, and they go like hotcakes literally, I dont always manage to get any, there are none left by the time I'm hungry!
Watched some bad Sunday TV (even with Sky, there doesnt seem to be much one, except a couple of episodes of CSI and Law & Order, which are repeats from the week).... Bed, my darling bed here I come, good night
PS. My feet hurt :(
